2018 is the first time I have had the time to participate in Inktober, and it was truly enjoyable and forced me to work much faster then I’m used to. The constraint on time (for those that don’t know Inktober is when artists participate by posting a finished ink illustration everyday for the whole month of October (or as close as possible)) quickened my pace and I still managed to turn out finished illustrations in between 3-10 hours daily. I had a few weekend trips early in the month and then I received a bunch of freelance work so I had to abandon the project about half way through, but the 15 illustrations I turned out in the first half of the month, I am very happy with. It is quite the mix of different styles and subject matter. Some are more successful then others. I look forward to sticking participating in 2019.
