This tree is either an abstraction of form or it is perfectly manicured. A tree to be pondered upon if sculpted by nature or manipulated by human hands. Perfectly imperfect. Near spheres, looking like the cosmos extrapolated.
All these trees growing in the Ink Forest have been drawn by hand and then scanned and cleaned up and added to using Procreate. In the last few years and over many trips I have taken photos of these trees in various locations around the world, including Australia, Canada, Germany and Vietnam. You can see from the photos of the sketchbooks the ink drawings are quite small and packed with detail.
