Posted by on / 0 Comments

I am proud to announce that I am part of the 2016 Emily Carr Alumni Art Market, where I will the exhibiting and selling prints and original artwork of the Delicate Balance series.  I will be showing new artwork that I haven’t shared or shown and I have made smaller prints for this event.

Alumni Art Market:

Saturday, October 1, 2016 | 11am to 4pm
Sunday, October 2, 2016 | 11am to 4pm

Concourse Gallery | Emily Carr University
1399 Johnston Street, Vancouver, BC

The Alumni Art Market will be held in the gallery on the Emily Carr University campus on Granville Island and this is to be the last year that Emily Carr will occupy this amazing campus before relocating to the new school at Great Northern Way in 2017.  There is plenty happening in conjunction with the Alumni Art Market, which is part of Culture Days.  Granville Island 2040 will also be taking place on the island and it is a public forum and fair which gives the community an opportunity to direct the development and growth of Granville Island over the next 25 years as well as showcase potential plans.  A lot of this has to do with Emily Carr vacating a large portion of the island in the next year but hopefully and with public guidance the island can retain its artistic and independent spirit.

You can find addition information as well as links to the other 15 artists that are participating at the Alumni Art Market website or the Alumni Art Market Facebook Event

I am very excited about this event and having the opportunity to show my work on Granville Island.  I look forward to sharing my work with family and friends so that they can the Delicate Balance pieces up close and in the flesh, as they should be seen!  Come down and bring your friends!
